Three Woodchucks Selected to Northwoods League All-Star Roster

Wausau, WIS- The Northwoods League has just announced the rosters for the 2015 Northwoods League All-Star Game and three Wisconsin Woodchucks players have made the South Division roster!

Albee Weiss, Max Ponzurick and Robert Zeigler have been selected to the roster for this year's All-Star game on Tuesday, July 21 at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids.

Outfielder Max Ponzurick leads the Chucks with a batting average of .310 and is tied with Weiss on leading the team in home runs with 7, which also ties them for 4th in the league. He is slugging .600 and has an OBP of .435.

Catcher Albee Weiss is batting .216 and has a team high of 25 RBIs. Weiss has recorded 213 putouts for the Woodchucks this year, earning him a .974 fielding percentage.

RHP Robert Zeigler has appeared in 14 games for the Woodchucks this summer, most often coming in late in the game. Zeigler has struck out 28 in 16.1 innings pitched and has an ERA of 1.65.
