Three Modesto Nuts Named 2015 Mid-Season All-Stars

Three players from the Nuts have been selected as 2015 mid-season All-Stars. Ryan McMahon, Jordan Patterson, and Antonio Senzatela have been chosen to join other California League All-Stars to take on the Carolina League All-Stars on June 23, 2015 at Loan Mart Field in Rancho Cucamonga.

Ryan McMahon, Rockies #5 Prospect, is one of the California League's top 10 hitters batting .311, with 23 doubles, five home runs, and 30 RBIs. McMahon has an OBP of .403 in 57 games and has showcased his strong defensive skills at third base for the Nuts throughout the season.

Outfielder Jordan Patterson is currently ranked sixth in California League batting. Patterson, who is batting .316, leads the league in triples with 10 and has 31 extra-base hits. Patterson ranks in the top five of slugging with a percentage of .574.

Starting Pitcher Antonio Senzatela, Rockies #8 prospect, has not failed to disappoint in 2015. Senzatela ranks second in California League pitching at 4-3 with a 2.22 ERA and 68 strikeouts. His relatively quick pace and consistency around the strike zone have helped him produce a 1.03 WHIP which ranks first in the league. Opposing teams are batting just .214 when he is on the mound.
