
Thorns FC Waive Midfielder Angie Kerr

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC announced today that the club has waived midfielder Angie Kerr.
"Angie has been a valued member of Thorns FC both on and off the field since the club's founding," said Portland Thorns FC head coach Paul Riley. "With her future playing status uncertain following this season, the club will continue to evaluate its options over the next several months."
Kerr, 29, joined Thorns FC as the club's second-round (16th overall) selection in the 2013 NWSL Supplemental Draft on Feb. 7, 2013, and appeared in 29 regular-season matches (17 starts) during two seasons with Portland. A graduate of the University of Portland, Kerr logged four assists during her time with Thorns FC.
