
Sky Blue FC Waive Defender Madeleine Thompson

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (September 12, 2014) - Sky Blue FC announced today that the club has waived defender Madeleine Thompson.
"We would like to thank Maddie for everything she has done for Sky Blue FC these past two seasons," Sky Blue FC technical director and head coach Jim Gabarra said. "We wish her the best of luck going forward."
During the 2014 season, Thompson made two appearances and earned a starting role on May 7 against the Chicago Red Stars.
The Corvallis, Oregon, native signed with Sky Blue FC in March 2013 as a discovery player. In her first year with the New Jersey club, Thompson made 14 appearances - starting four matches - and played 409 minutes.
