TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.- A new promotion is on its way into the lineup at Wuerfel Park this summer for Traverse City Beach Bums' games in the form of Thirsty Thursdays.
For the rest of the 2009 season, Thursday home games at Wuerfel Park will be designated as "Thirsty Thursdays". All beer and fountain soft drinks will be $1 off during each of the four such games, including this coming Thursday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Washington Wild Things.
The Beach Bums offer a wide variety of beer, including Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller High Life, Labatt Blue, Labatt Blue Light, Heineken, Mike's Hard Lemonade, and Mike's Hard Cranberry. Soft drinks at Wuerfel Park include Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, and Sierra Mist.
The following is a list of upcoming "Thirsty Thursdays" at Wuerfel Park. - June 25 vs. Washington - July 2 vs. Kalamazoo - July 30 vs. Lake Erie - August 13 vs. Gateway
