
The Rainbow Connection Home Run for Kids Comes to Lansing

LANSING, Mich. - Three cities. Three dates. Three ball games.
The Rainbow Connection announces the first annual Home Run for Kids, an evening of fun at the ballpark to support making dreams come true for Michigan children with life-threatening illnesses.
On Thursday, August 6, join The Rainbow Connection at Cooley Law School Stadium as the Lansing Lugnuts take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at 7:05 p.m. A pre-game party will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Washington Park. An admission of $12 per person includes a lawn ticket to the game as well as a Rainbow Connection t-shirt, hot dogs, chips and refreshments at the Washington Park pre-game party.
"We're looking forward to a fun-filled evening in Downtown Lansing with the Rainbow Connection Wish Families and Lansing Area Supporters," said Nick Brzezinski, Lansing Lugnuts Assistant General Manager, Sales.
Tickets are limited, so register by July 30 at www.rainbowconnection.org in order to reserve a spot! Register online before July 13 for a chance to win a VIP ballpark experience featuring a behind-the-scenes tour of the newly renovated Cooley Law School Stadium!

The Rainbow Connection, a recognized Charity Navigator Four Star Charity, makes dreams come true for Michigan children with life-threatening illnesses and provides support services to the family. From a magical trip to Disney World to biking down volcanoes in Hawaii to meeting the President of the United States, The Rainbow Connection has made dreams come true for over 2,800 children, and anticipates making dreams come true for more than 150 children in 2015.
