The Amerks Moose To Mingle At 'The Little'

(Rochester, NY)... The Little Theatre and The Rochester American Hockey Club will take part in USA Hockey's "Hockey Weekend Across America" on Saturday, January 30th with the screening ofthe film "Miracle" at 10:00 a.m. at 240 East Avenue. The film, which is part of the MVP Little Buddies Series, begins at 10:00 a.m.

Kids will learn about the great sport of hockey and of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team. The event includes an appearance by the Amerks mascot, The Moose, and a raffle of a team autographed Amerks hockey stick. The cost is $5.00. During Hockey Weekend Across America, the Amerks will play two home games at The Blue Cross Arena. The first is Friday, January 29th at 7:05 p.m. as the Albany River Rats come to town. The game features the "Dollar Dogs 'N' Drafts" promotion. Fans can purchase Zweigle's Hot Dogs and 14oz. Draft Beers for just $1.00 each. On Sunday, Rochester hosts the Adirondack Phantoms at 5:00 p.m. on Amerks Red Hot Sunday. Fans can take advantage of the Zweigle's Family Four Pack and receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $44 at the box office. The Rochester Americans and The Little Theatre began a partnership this season to provide dinner and a movie packages exclusively to Facebook Friends. The package includes two entrees, two movie tickets, two popcorns and two sodas (tickets not available for special events). The next raffle is Tuesday, February 2nd at 1:00 p.m. on the Amerks Facebook page, which can be accessed on the homepage of amerks.com.
