On Tuesday, the Canadian AHL All-Stars rallied from a four-goal third period deficit and pulled out a 10-9 shootout victory over the PlanetUSA AHL All-Stars in Portland... Tyler Ennis of the hometown Portland Pirates was named MVP after registering a goal and two assists for Canada.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Chicago brings its six-game winning streak into Milwaukee on Friday for a clash with the West Division-leading Admirals, who are 6-1-0-0 in their last seven... The Wolves have won three straight over Milwaukee - including a 7-2 triumph on Jan. 13 - since dropping both teams' season opener on Oct. 3... Tim Stapleton has a four-game scoring streak (3-5-8) for Chicago and has racked up a team-high four goals and six points vs. the Admirals this year... Wolves forward Joey Crabb has a point in five straight games (2-4-6), and Matt Anderson is riding a four-game run (2-4-6)... Chicago goaltender Peter Mannino stopped 63 of 65 shots (.969) in consecutive wins last weekend... Milwaukee is coming off a two-game sweep of Manitoba in Winnipeg last weekend, in which the Admirals outscored the Moose, 13-4... Mike Santorelli brings a five-game scoring streak (3-4-7) in tonight's action for Milwaukee, while Chris Mueller shows five points (3-2-5) in his last two contests... Colin Wilson put up a season-high four-points (1-3-4) on Jan. 16 at Manitoba.
Riding a season-high three-game winning streak, Adirondack begins a busy weekend with a Friday night visit to Binghamton... Adirondack forward Krys Kolanos has notched a goal in all three games of his club's current winning streak (3-2-5), and David Laliberte shows an assist in each contest (0-3-3)... 2010 AHL All-Star Jon Matsumoto paces the Phantoms overall with 33 points (17-16-33) in 40 outings, and Stefan Legein has a team-high 18 goals (18-4-22) in 40 contests... Adirondack has scored the first goal in a league-low 15 of its 40 games thus far, but is 12-2-1-0 when striking first... Binghamton comes out of the All-Star break four points back of the Phantoms for the East Division's third and final guaranteed playoff spot... B-Sens forward Josh Hennessy shows six points (2-4-6) in three games vs. Adirondack this season but is scoreless in his last eight outings overall... 2010 AHL All-Star Ryan Keller is coming off back-to-back two-goal games (4-1-5).
Providence hosts Lowell at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday as the Atlantic Divison rivals square off for the seventh time this season... The Devils have taken four of the teams' first six meetings (4-2-0-0) and are 11-5-0-1 in their last 17 contests overall... Lowell, which has won three conseuctive road games, brings the league's best power play (23.5 percent) into the weekend... Ex-Bruin Ben Walter has a goal in his last two games, and Michael Swift shows 2-4-6 in his last six contests... The Bruins, who have not missed the playoffs since 1998, come out of the All-Star break 5-10-2-0 in their last 17 tilts and six points back of a postseason spot... 2010 AHL All-Star Mikko Lehtonen (12-20-32) and Jeff LoVecchio (10-6-16) are the only members of the Bruins with double-digit goals this season... Lehtonen has registered six points (2-4-6) in the season series with Lowell this year.

On Thursday, 2010 AHL All-Star Dustin Kohn garnered an assist in his NHL debut to help the N.Y. Islanders to a 2-1 shootout win over Florida... Fellow 2010 AHL All-Stars John Carlson of Washington and Dustin Jeffrey of Pittsburgh faced each other on Thursday; Carlson contributed an assist in the Caps' 6-3 victory.
