B-Sens Hold Special Saturday "Nooners" Skate

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators have announced today that they will hold a special Saturday session of their popular "Nooners" program skate, open to the general public, from 3 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Jan 23.

Fans are encouraged to come out to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena with their skates and equipment to participate in an open "Nooners" skate. Half of the arena ice will be utilized for pick-up hockey, while the other half will be open for skating.

Skaters will have the opportunity to speak with Nate Newborn, New business development executive for the B-Sens and creator of the program with regards to how they can get involved for the remaining five sessions of the 2009-10 season.

The B-Sens' "Nooners" program offers fans the opportunity to get on the ice at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for an hour of open ice time every Friday the B-Sens have a home game scheduled. The program is open to all season ticket package holders of five games or higher.

The open "Nooners" skate adds to an already fun-filled Saturday for B-Sens fans as the Senators hold their third annual Star Wars night as they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:05 p.m. Participants are encouraged to stay after the skate for the game. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating. Fans can purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or in person at the Binghamton Senators' executive office or the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office.
