AHL Hall Of Fame Induction And Awards Ceremony On Time Warner Cable

Portland, Maine - Time Warner Cable will show the 2010 American Hockey League Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, presented by Portland Press Herald this Saturday and Sunday on TWC-TV.

The Ceremony, held Tuesday at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, was part of the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic, hosted by the Portland Pirates on January 18th and 19th.

The American Hockey League Hall of Fame Class of 2010 - Macgregor Kilpatrick, John Paddock, Marcel Paille and Bill Sweeney - were officially enshrined and honorary captains Byron Dafoe and Ken Daneyko were recognized for their careers in both the AHL and NHL. In addition, Brian Burke, a Calder Cup champion as a forward with the 1977-78 Maine Mariners and now the president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, was the keynote speaker at the event and former Pirates broadcaster Tom Caron, now of the New England Sports Network (NESN), was the master of ceremonies.

The 2010 American Hockey League Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, presented by Portland Press Herald will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, January 23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24. TWC TV is a programming service of Time Warner Cable, featuring entertaining and informative coverage of local events, sports, people and places. It can be found on Channels 9 or 12 in most of Time Warner Cable's service area in Maine, and on Channel 21 in New Hampshire.

Starting Tuesday, January 26, the 2010 American Hockey League Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, presented by Portland Press Herald will be available to Time Warner Cable Video On Demand customers on TWC TV On Demand on Channel 950 or, depending upon your location, on Channel 1 under the "Local" category.
