CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars finished off a successful road trip in Illinois sweeping their three-game weekend and improving their record to 4-0-0-0 to start a season for the first time in franchise history. The Stars now prepare for a home matchup Wednesday before hitting the road again next weekend.
-- THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE --
October 21 vs. Stockton Heat, 7:30 p.m.:
The Stars have their first matchup against one of the AHL's new California teams on Wednesday when the Stockton Heat visit Cedar Park Center. The old Adirondack Flames from last year relocated over the summer to Stockton. The Stars and Adirondack split their two-game series last season with the home team winning each game. Justin Dowling had four points (two goals, two assists) in those two games last year.
October 24, 7 p.m. and October 25, 3 p.m. at Iowa Wild:
The Stars and Wild square off for the first two contests of a four-game series on Saturday and Sunday. Texas went 6-1-1-0 in eight matchups against Iowa last season. Greg Rallo (six goals, one assist) and Derek Hulak (two goals, five assists) each led the Stars with seven points in last year's series.

October 16 at Chicago Wolves, 7-3 Win:
The Texas Stars erupted for three power play goals and Greg Rallo tallied his 150th career point for the franchise in a 7-3 road win over the Chicago Wolves on Friday night in front of 3,321 in attendance at Allstate Arena. Rallo's milestone point came on a power play goal, giving the Stars a 4-2 lead just nine seconds after Devin Shore scored to break a tied score in the second period. The two forwards each finished with two goals in the win.
October 17 at Rockford IceHogs, 5-2 Win:
Devin Shore continued his red-hot play with a hat trick and Maxime Lagace recorded the first goaltending win of his AHL career as the Texas Stars topped the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bank Center in front of 4,860 in attendance. Derek Hulak also scored for Texas and added an assist. Lagace stopped 25 of 27 shots in net in the win.
October 18 at Rockford IceHogs, 7-2 Win:
The Texas Stars offense started fast with three first period goals on the way to a 7-2 win over the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday evening at BMO Harris Bank Center. Greg Rallo scored a pair of goals and Matej Stransky added another to give Texas the three-goal lead in the first. Devin Shore (assist) and Esa Lindell (goal, assist) each extended their point streaks to four games, and Maxime Lagace stopped 34 shots in his second straight start to earn the win.

Greg Rallo's first power play goal on Friday was the 150th point of his Texas Stars career. Devin Shore's six goals on the season are the most scored by a Stars player through the first four games of the season in franchise history. Shore and Esa Lindell are each riding four-game point streaks. Remi Elie scored the first goal of his pro career in Sunday's win at Rockford. The Stars are tied for first in the league with 24 goals through the first four games of the season (Bridgeport Sound Tigers).

Wednesday's matchup is Back to the Future night with the Stars. Fans can purchase executive and luxury level tickets for $19.85 in honor of the movie, plus take pictures with a DeLorean before the game. It is also the team's first Winning Wednesday promotion of the season and an H-E-B Night. If the Stars win, fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to the team's next Wednesday game, and fans can donate an H-E-B branded, non-perishable food item at the box office for $5 off their ticket purchase.
