Team Notes:

- The Falcons killed all ten minor penalties in Saturday 4-1 loss against Lehigh Valley.

- The Falcons tied last season's record with the fewest shots on goal in a period, totaling two in Saturday's second frame.

- Springfield has scored three of their five goals in the second period.

- The Falcons are fifth in the AHL with 22 minor penalties.

Player Notes:

- Forward Dustin Jeffrey registered one goal and two assists against former team, Bridgeport on Tuesday

- Defenseman Alex Grant posted a goal and two assists on Tuesday, tallying three or more points for the fifth time in his career.

- Forward Brendan Shinnimin leads the team with five minors.

- Forward Michael Bunting made his professional debut on Friday against the Phantoms.

- Forward Mattias Pachta leads the Falcons with a plus-one rating.

Upcoming Promotions:

Friday, Oct. 23 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton: Military Appreciation Night dedicated to all active military and veterans. Military vehicles, a ceremonial puck drop, and special acknowledgments will be presented at the game.

Community Brief:

Sunday, Oct. 25 - Baystate Health Foundation: Rays of Hope Walk and Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer Screech and the Lady Falcons will attend the yearly event helping in the fight against breast cancer. The campaign has currently raised over $121,700.
