Heat Announce Roster Change

Stockton, Calif - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the Calgary Flames, have released forward Garet Hunt from his pro tryout.

Hunt, 28, played seven seasons for the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL before being invited to the Stockton Heat's training camp during the team's first season. Hunt played in two preseason games for the team but did not suit up for the Heat in the regular season.

The Heat take to the road for four games before returning to Stockton Arena on November 6 and 7 for Hot Pink 1 presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center. Event proceeds from Hot Pink 1 will benefit St. Joseph's Foundation - Breast Health Services.
