Texas Stars Recall Goaltender Lagace

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today they have recalled goaltender Maxime Lagace from their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

The 21-year-old Lagace (luh-GAH-see) started the season in training camp with the Texas Stars, and appeared in the club's first preseason game against the Oklahoma City Barons. The rookie goaltender is beginning his professional career this season after a four-year run in the QMJHL.

The Texas Stars visit the Barons Friday night before hosting the Utica Comets on Saturday at Cedar Park Center at 7:00 p.m.
