
Taylor Cammarata Agrees to Amateur Tryout

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgep ort Sound Tigers announced today forward Taylor Cammarata has agreed to terms on an amateur tryout (ATO). In addition, defenseman Jesse Graham has been reassigned by the New York Islanders to the Missouri Mavericks (ECHL).
Cammarata, 21, played each of the last four seasons at the University of Minnesota, helping the Golden Gophers to a Big Ten regular season championship every year. He recorded 20 points (five goals, 15 assists) in 34 games as a senior this past season.
A native of Plymouth, Minnesota, Cammarata also played two seasons with the Waterloo Blackhawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and led the league in goals (38) and points (93) during his second season in 2012-13, en route to winning USHL Player of the Year honors. In addition, he was named 2012 USHL Rookie of the Year and also skated for Team USA at the 2012 World Junior A Challenge, tallying four points in four games.
The 5'7, 161-pound forward was selected by the Islanders in the third round (76th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Graham, 22, recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 19 games with the Sound Tigers this season. The third-year pro has also registered 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 19 games with the Mavericks. Graham spent the majority of the 2015-16 campaign with Bridgeport and ranked second among team defensemen with 17 points (five goals, 12 assists) in 52 games.
A native of Toronto, Graham has logged 47 points (10 goals, 37 assists) and 58 penalty minutes in 105 AHL games since his professional debut with the Sound Tigers on April 4, 2014. In addition, he has 41 points (five goals, 36 assists) in 53 ECHL games with the Mavericks and Florida Everblades.
Prior to turning pro, Graham played four seasons in the OHL with Niagara and the Saginaw Spirit from 2010-14. He captained Niagara in 2013-14.
The 6'0, 185-pound defenseman was originally selected by the Islanders in the sixth round (155th overall) of 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
