
Tatum Placed on DL with Right Elbow Strain

Dayton, OH â C Craig Tatum has been placed on the disabled list with a right elbow strain. Tatum, who has appeared in 35 of Dayton's 49 games behind the plate, injured the elbow in the Dragons 5-3 win over the Burlington Bees at Community Field on Sunday afternoon. Tatum was hitting .188 with 1 home run and 12 RBI at the time of his injury. To fill the roster spot vacated by Tatum, INF Evan Conley has been activated off the disabled list. Conley was placed on the DL on May 14th, retro to May 12th, with a lower back strain. Conley has appeared in just one game for the Dragons and is 0-3 with 1 RBI in 2005. The Dragons roster currently sits at 25 players.
