Tarik Black and Jordan Clarkson Assigned to D-Fenders

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned center Tarik Black and guard Jordan Clarkson to the D-Fenders, it was announced today.

Black, an undrafted rookie from Kansas, appeared in 25 games (12 starts) for the Houston Rockets this season, averaging 4.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game. Black was awarded to the Lakers via a successful waiver claim on December 28th, 2014.

Clarkson has posted averages of 19.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 34.0 minutes in four games this season for the D-Fenders. In his most recent appearance on December 18th, Clarkson tallied 23 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in 39 minutes in a victory over Sioux Falls. Clarkson's season high for points came on November 15th, when he netted 28 points, handed out five assists and grabbed five rebounds in 37 minutes vs. Texas.
