Tardif, Vicari Return from Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that forward Jamie Tardif and goaltender Dominic Vicari have been reassigned to Toledo from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. In a separate move, Toledo released goaltender Dennis Canfield.

Tardif, the 2007 ECHL All Star, appeared in a pair of games with Grand Rapids scoring 1 goal while adding 1 assist. Jamie also saw AHL time this season playing in three games with the Manitoba Moose and the Iowa Stars. In 33 games with the Storm this year, Tardif has tallied 29 points (10 G, 19 A) with 37 PIM.

Vicari, the native of Clinton Township, Michigan, made his AHL debut January 26th at Rochester. Unfortunately, Dominic allowed 4 goals on 7 shots and was lifted. He has appeared in 18 games with Toledo this season with a 6-10-0 record, a 3.52 goals against average, and a .891 save percentage.

Toledo will return to the home ice on January 31st when they will host the Trenton Titans at 7:00pm from Toledo Sports Arena!
