BACK TO R WINNING WAYS: The Tacoma Rainiers hit a season-high 4 home runs on Saturday to bounce back after back-to-back losses against the Reno Aces, 7-1. Cal Raleigh, Taylor Trammell, Travis Blankehnorn and Dillon Thomas all went yard in the victory, and five Tacoma pitchers combined to allow 1 run, tying a season-best for runs allowed.
Tacoma jumped out to a 1st inning lead on a 3-run HR from Blankenhorn. Raleigh homered for the 2nd straigh game with a 3rd inning blast. Trammell and Thomas both homered in the 5th inning. Max Roberts earned his first Triple-A win with 2.1 scoreless innings of relief.
R CITY SLUGGERS: Tacoma's 4 Saturday night homers gave Tacoma home runs in each of their last 8 games. The 21 big flies during that stretch are the most in Minor League Baseball.
13 Rainiers have hit home runs over the last 8 games, with Cal Raleigh and Luis Torrens each accounting for 3 round-trippers to lead the team.

TRAMMELL DOING SWELL: OF Taylor Trammell went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double on Saturday and leads all qualified Triple-A hitters in SLG (.810), He also ranks 2nd in batting average (.413), total bases (51) and OPS (1.244), T-3rd in HR (6) and XBH (13), and T-7th in RBI (17).

Thomas has reached base in 9 straight starts (0-for-1 on 5/25), and has been aboard at least twice in 8 of his last 10 contests. Thomas' previous career high for OBP is .353 (min. 100 G) in 2016 with Double-A Hartford.
TAKING 'EM FOR THE TEAM: OF Dillon Thomas ws hit by a pitch for the 5th time on Thursday, tied Salt Lake's Scott Schebler for 2nd most in the league and T-17th among all minor leaguers. Thomas trails only Reno's Seth Beer in the league, who was hit twice by Tacoma pitchers on Saturday. In 2019, Thomas tied a career high with 11 HBPs in 131 games at Double-A Biloxi (MIL).
GET YOUR RALEIGH CAPS ON: Catching prospect Cal Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a home run and 2 R on Saturday, improving his batting average to .347. Raleigh leads all Triple-A hitters with 9 doubles and tied with Salt Lake's Jo Adell for the most extra-base hits (14). Raleigh is also top-10 in the league in runs (17), total bases (48), SLG (.667), OPS (1.078), RBI (16), hits (25) and HBP (3).
His current 11-game hitting streak is the team's longest this season.
DOUBLE-DIGIT STREAK: During his current 11-game hitting steak, Cal Raleigh is 19-for-44 (.432) and ranks top-5 in the league in batting average, hits (19), XBH (10), doubles (6), runs (12), OBP (.460), SLG (.818), OPS (1.278) and total bases (36), while ranking t-6th in RBI (11).
YEEHAW YACABONIS: RHP Jimmy Yacabonis pitched 2.0 scoreless innings on Saturday, his 6th appearance this season with at least 1.0 IP and 0 runs allowed. Among league pitchers with at least 14.0 IP, Yacabonis ranks 3rd in ERA (1.88), 5th in BB/9 (1.88), 8th in K% (28.1%), and 2nd in WHIP (1.05).
STRIKEOUTS GALORE: Tacoma pitchers currently lead the Triple-A West with 236 strikeouts through 21 games. Round Rock ranks 2nd in the league with 226 strikeouts.
