TACOMA, Wash. - The Tacoma Rainiers (28-29) fell to the Salt Lake Bees (34-23) by a final score of 5-2 Saturday night at Cheney Stadium.

Tacoma starter Lindsey Caughel (1-2) allowed one run across three innings and struck out two Salt Lake hitters while walking none.

Shortstop Adam Law (2x3, R, 2 RBI, HR), third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean (1x3, R,) and first baseman Daniel Vogelbach (1x3, 2 BB) powered the Rainiers offense Saturday night.

Salt Lake got on the board first during the second inning when Francisco Arcia singled to right and scored Jose Miguel Fernanandez to make it 1-0.

The Bees extended their lead to 3-0 during the fifth when David Fletcher lined an RBI double to right and Jabari Blash managed an RBI groundout.

Law answered during the bottom half of the sixth when he clubbed his first career Triple-A home run, a towering shot to left field that closed the Tacoma deficit to 3-2.

Fernandez launched a two-run home run in the top of the seventh to score Blash and extend the Salt Lake lead to 5-2.
