The Sacramento River Cats put together a nine-batter top of the ninth inning and came back to beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 8-4 Saturday night. El Paso has dropped three consecutive games.

The Chihuahuas trailed 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning when RBI hits from Allen Craig and Luis Urias tied the game. Javy Guerra's RBI double in the bottom of the eighth put the Chihuahuas ahead by a run before Sacramento's five-run, ninth-inning outburst.

Neither team had a baserunner in the first two and half innings Saturday. The Chihuahuas have been held hitless in the first three innings in each of the last three games. Fred Schlichtholz threw three shutout innings for El Paso in his first career game above Single-A. Carlos Asuaje, Guerra and Forrestt Allday had two hits each for the Chihuahuas.
