Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Dodgers broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning and tacked on two more runs in the eighth inning on the way to a 4-2 win against the Omaha Storm Chasers Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers took the field as Cielo Azul de Oklahoma City during ¡CelebraciÃ"n Cielo Azul! and improved to 23-5 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark this season in front of a crowd of 9,890.

Oklahoma City (33-19) won a third straight game to take a 3-1 advantage in a five-game series against the Storm Chasers.

Omaha (23-32) threatened in the first inning. Adalberto Mondesi tripled with one out and Frank Schwindel followed, hitting a fly ball to right field that Alex Verdugo caught. Mondesi attempted to score on the play, but Verdugo's throw caught him at the plate to keep the Storm Chasers scoreless in the first inning.

In the third inning, Henry Ramos led off for Oklahoma City with a double for the Dodgers' first hit of the night. He advanced to third base on a groundout and then scored on a two-out RBI single by Tim Locastro for a 1-0 Oklahoma City lead.

A RBI single by Omaha's Mondesi in the sixth inning tied the game, 1-1.

Travis Taijeron singled in the seventh inning and came around to score with two outs when Rocky Gale grounded a single into left field to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead.

The Dodgers tacked on two more runs in the eighth inning. Locastro's third homer of the season led off the bottom of the inning for the Dodgers and boosted Oklahoma City's lead to 3-1. Edwin RÃ-os' RBI single into left field later in the inning extended Oklahoma City's lead to 4-1.

Paulo Orlando tripled with two outs in the ninth inning and scored on a RBI single by Humberto Arteaga to cut the Dodgers' lead to 4-2. With Omaha runners at first and second base, Dodgers reliever Pat Venditte struck out Jack Lopez to secure the win and his second save of the season with OKC.

Dodgers starting pitcher Daniel Corcino held the Storm Chasers to one run and four hits over 6.0 innings with one walk and six strikeouts, but settled for a no decision, exiting the game in a 1-1 tie. Brian Schlitter (2-0) tossed two scoreless innings, allowing two hits for his second win of the season.

Storm Chasers reliever Jake Kalish (1-1) pitched the final 2.1 innings and was charged with the loss.
