
T-Bones Drop Second Straight

WICHITA, Kansas - The Kansas City T-Bones lost their second straight game since early June, Sunday afternoon, with a 10-3 loss to Wichita.
Wichita used a four-run second inning off T-Bones starting pitcher Kris Regas (2-3), and a four run eighth inning, off T-Bones reliever Jared Messer to win their second straight game.
The T-Bones got two-out RBI hits from Adam Bailey, Brian Erie and Alex Marquez.Â
Regas allowed six runs in four innings for Kansas City. Josh Tols pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball out of the bullpen for the T-Bones.
The T-Bones (25-19), continue the eight-game road-trip, Monday night at 7:05pm against Wichita (27-21) at Lawrence Dumont Stadium. The winner will lead the Wild Card race by one game.
