
Syracuse University Students to Promote Annual Spring Football Game at the Crunch's April 10th Game

Syracuse, NY - Syracuse University will hold its annual Spring Football Game at 1 p.m. on April 17th at the Carrier Dome. Students from the Department of Sport Management will be on hand to promote the Spring Game at the Syracuse Crunch's April 10th game against Rochester.
The game is the first opportunity to see the 2010-11 Syracuse University Football squad in action. In addition, there will be various other activities including face painting, pictures with Otto and the SU Dance Team. After the game there will be an autograph session with the football players as well as football activities on the field with former SU and current NFL player Steve Gregory. The Spring Football Game is open to the public with free admission and free parking.
Fans interested in learning more can speak with a sport management student at the Crunch's April 10th game against Rochester at the War Memorial at Oncenter or by visiting suathletics.com.
Students enrolled in SPM 444, Sport Marketing, have been working on a semester long project to promote the Spring Football game. They have focused their efforts in marketing, media relations, event management, and sponsorship activities surrounding the game. This class also assisted the Crunch with various aspects of the Mirabito Outdoor Classic.
The Crunch's next game is Friday, April 9th vs. Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
