
Switchbacks FC Sign Forward Nicholas Amoako

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC News Release
Colorado Springs, CO - Today, the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC officially announced the signing of forward Nicholas Amoako for the remainder of the 2018 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Amoako, 20, is a product from the Kalonji Soccer Academy in Atlanta, Georgia where he was a member of the KSA '98 team that won a National League title in 2014. Amoako has also played extensively with KSA's Pro Profile elite amateur side. He arrived in the United States as a refugee from Mankessim, Ghana in 2011 along with his six younger sisters. He will wear number 18 for the Switchbacks and he will be available for the game on July 14th against Sacramento Republic FC.
"Nicholas is an exciting, young, dynamic player that will help our team in many ways," said Switchbacks Head Coach, Steve Trittschuh. "He is determined to be a goal scorer in this league and help us get into the playoffs."
The Switchbacks return home on July 14th to face the Sacramento Republic FC where the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a premium bottle and bag courtesy of Heat Depot Home Solutions. Tickets start at just $12 and are available here. Fans 21+ can get $1 beer the first 30 minutes when gates open at 5:00 PM.
