CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Brian Swanson scored a power-play goal at 19:06 of the second period and Kari Lehtonen stopped 31 shots, leading the Chicago Wolves to a 2-1 win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Wednesday at Cincinnati Gardens.

Swanson scored 23 seconds after Mike Mottau was called for holding the stick, sending a shot from the base of the left circle past Cincinnati goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov for his fifth goal of the season.

Libor Ustrnul also scored for Chicago, which improved to 4-1-1-1 against West Division teams.

Lehtonen, a first-round pick by Atlanta in 2002, was sensational all game. The 20-year-old native of Helsinki, Finland has won his last two starts, stopping 69 of the 71 shots that he has faced.

Pierre Parenteau scored the lone goal for the Ducks, who lost for just the second time in their last eight games (5-2-1-0).

Bryzgalov made 22 saves for Cincinnati, which begins a two-game road trip Friday in Manitoba.
