Suspensions, Fines Levied For Feb. 9 Elmira, Reading Game

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced fines and suspensions resulting from an altercation after conclusion of ECHL Game #583 Elmira at Reading on Feb. 9.

The Elmira organization and the Reading organization have both been fined under Rule 47.19.

Elmira defenseman Tomas Kudelka has been suspended seven games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline. Kudelka will miss Elmira's games vs. Texas (Feb. 14), vs. Gwinnett (Feb. 15), vs. Cincinnati (Feb. 16), vs. Trenton (Feb. 19), at Reading (Feb. 20), at Wheeling (Feb. 22) and at Cincinnati (Feb. 23).

Reading defenseman Rob LaLonde has been suspended three games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline. LaLonde will miss Reading's games vs. Dayton (Feb. 15), vs. Texas (Feb. 16) and vs. Gwinnett (Feb. 17).

Elmira left wing Bruce Watson has been suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline. Watson will miss Elmira's game vs. Texas (Feb. 14).

Reading defenseman Steven Later has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Elmira right wing Chaz Johnson, Elmira defenseman Luke Fritshaw and Elmira forward Dan Kronick have each been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
