
Suns Set to Open Second Half at Home

The Hagerstown Suns kick off the second half of the season with a five-game homestand starting on June 24th against the Hickory Crawdads. The series includes a Friends and Family Night, fireworks and the National Egg Toss Championship.
The homestand opens with Feed Your Face/Thirsty Thursday on June 24th presented by Bob Rocks 101.5 FM with the game beginning at 7:05 p.m. The Municipal Stadium gates open at 6:00 p.m. For as low as $10 per ticket, fans will receive all-you-can-eat select food items from the concession stands as well as domestic drafts at $1.25 each.
After Thursday's game, fans will enjoy a concert by Metigias in the Yuengling Beer Garden for Bob's Birthday Bash. Those interested in just seeing the concert may enter the stadium after the start of the eighth inning for $5.
Fireworks are after the game on Friday, June 25th, presented by Cool 95.9 FM. The game begins at 7:05 p.m. Gates to the stadium open at 6:00 p.m. It is also History Night at the stadium, where fans will enjoy tables of baseball and Suns history.
Saturday, June 26th is the next installment of the Chipotle Friends and Family Deal, where you can get four tickets, four Suns caps and four Chipotle meals for under $24.99. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. Gates to Municipal Stadium will open at a special time, 5:00 p.m. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive the 2010 Suns team photo. Players will be on the concourse signing autographs until 6:00 p.m.
The Saturday game will feature the Drug Free Parent-Kid Challenge, where parent-kid teams can take a quiz about drug prevention to win a Suns T-shirt and hat, presented by Drug Free Washington County. Every inning of the game, a prize pack will be given away presented by Antietam Cable Television and Comcast SportsNet.
Also, on Saturday the culmination of a partnership between the Hagerstown Suns and the Red Cross will take place. The Suns will be giving away free tickets to Saturday's game to anyone who donates blood at the Hagerstown Donor Center on Friday, June 25th of Saturday, June 26th. The center will be open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday.
The National Egg Toss Championship commences on Sunday, June 27th. All fans in attendance may participate in the egg toss after the game, sponsored by the Maryland Egg Council. The winning two-person team receives a trophy.
For Sunday's game, fans may register to bring their dogs to the park for Dog Days of Summer. The game starts at 2:05 p.m., will gates to Municipal Stadium opening at 1:00 p.m.
The homestand concludes with a Monday night game at 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
Advance VIP tickets are $9, reserved grandstand seats are $8 and general admission tickets will be $7. Tickets purchased the day of the game are increased by one dollar. Thirsty Thursday tickets are $13 for VIP, $11 for reserved grandstand and $10 for general admission.
