Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release
Jacksonville, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns have made the following transactions:
On Sunday July 12, P Wade Korpi was reassigned to the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League.
P Garrett Parcell was reassigned to Jacksonville from the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League.
P Adalberto Mendez has been placed on the disabled list (right shoulder strain).
P Sean West was optioned to Jacksonville from the Florida Marlins.
The Suns have 24 active players, the Southern League maximum, with nine players on the disabled list.
