
Suns Announce Roster Moves August 26

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's contest with the Montgomery Biscuits at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.
Outfielder Michael Main has been placed on the seven-day Disabled List, retroactive to August 25, due to a left hand contusion. The 23-year-old has accumulated a .223 clip (46-206) with no homers and 11 RBI in 67 contests for the Suns this year.
In a corresponding move, infielder Audy Ciriaco has been transferred to Jacksonville from Triple-A New Orleans. After being promoted to the Zephyrs on August 19, Ciriaco recorded a .154 average (2-13) with New Orleans, adding a homer and three RBI. Previously in 77 contests with the Suns, the 26-year-old posted a .221 mark (50-226) with five homers and 26 RBI.
