Suns Announce Charity Golf Tournament

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns are proud to announce this afternoon the Jacksonville Suns Charity Golf Tournament in conjunction with the Florida Times-Union, 1010XL and Sports Final Radio will be held on Monday, July 23rd at The Golf Club At South Hampton with a 1:30PM shotgun start.

The tournament will be a Classic Florida Scramble format with prizes going to the top team scores. Prizes will also be awarded for the Closest to the Pin contest, Longest Drive and more!

All three member groups will be matched up with a fourth player from the Suns Organization i.e: Player, Coach or Local Celebrity. The drawing for the golf pairings will be held after the Sunday, July 22nd game at the Baseball Grounds.

Each participant will receive a boxed lunch prior to play and is invited to the Post Tournament Party at the clubhouse, which will feature a hot buffet with beer included! All participants will receive a special Jacksonville Suns Charity Golf Classic shirt and a Suns hat.

Proceeds from this tournament, and the Baseball Memorabilia Auction associated with it, will go to benefit various area charities, to continue the Suns rich history of giving back to the Jacksonville community.
