Five Roster Moves Affect Generals Thursday

JACKSON, TENN. (JUNE 14, 2012) - The Seattle Mariners have made the following roster move that effects the Jackson Generals roster. LHP Bobby LaFromoboise and RHP Steven Hensley have been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma and RHP Forrest Snow has been activated from Triple-A Tacoma to Jackson and RHP Andrew Kittredge has been activated from Low-A Clinton. Also, RHP Jandy Sena returns from Triple-A Tacoma and has been placed on the 7-day DL.

Promoted to Triple-A Tacoma:

Transferred to Jackson:

. RHP Forrest Snow > from AAA Tacoma

. RHP Andrew Kittredge > from A- Clinton

Activated from Tacoma, placed on 7-Day DL:

. RHP Jandy Sena

LAFROMBOISE, 25, has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma after an outstanding start to the 2012 season. has allowed only 1 earned run in his last 24.1 innings in relief (0.37 ERA). During his last 17 relief appearances he has limited opponents to a .133 average (11x83), while walking 4 and striking out 27. He has not allowed a hit to the last 23 batters faced (1 BB, 8 K). The lefty from Downey, CA has appeared in 69 games over the course of 2 seasons in Jackson. Bobby was named to his second straight Southern League All-Star team this year.

HENSLEY, 25, has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma also. Hensley was 2-2, with a 3.24 ERA in 20 relief appearances for the Generals this season. Hensley has made 64 appearances, 43 starts over parts of 4 seasons in Jackson. The righty from Asheville, NC had pitched 33.1 innings this season.

SNOW, 23, joins the Generals roster, being transferred from Triple-A Tacoma of the Pacific Coast League. This season for the Rainiers Snow was 1-4, with a 8.42 ERA in 13 games, 11 starts. Snow was drafted by the Mariners in the 36th round of the 2010 MLB draft by the Mariners out of the University of Washington.

KITTREDGE, joins the Generals, being transferred from Low-A Clinton of the Midwest League. This season for the LumberKings, Kittredge was 1-0, with a 1.23 ERA in 3 games, 7.1 innings pitched. Kittredge was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Mariners in 2011. Kittredge also attended the University of Washington.

The Generals roster stands at 24 active players, and 6 disabled.
