Sundogs Fall to Number Five in CHL Coaches Poll

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League have dropped one spot in the bi-weekly coaches poll, ranking as the fifth-best team in the CHL, based on voting by the league's 17 head coaches. The Sundogs, 11-4-1 on the season, received 101 points in the poll.

The Youngstown SteelHounds retained the poll's top spot with a 13-2-1 record heading into this weekend's games. Rounding out the top five are the Rocky Mountain Rage (#2), the Laredo Bucks (#3) and the Mississippi RiverKings (#4).

The Southwest Division-leading Sundogs face off against the 12-1-1 Rocky Mountain Rage tonight at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colo. Arizona dropped the only other meeting of the season against the Rage 5-4 in overtime on Oct. 27.
