Sunday's On-Field Catch Promotion Postponed Due To Field Conditions
June 10, 2006 - Eastern League (EL1)
Portland Sea Dogs News Release
The Portland Sea Dogs have postponed their on-field catch promotion scheduled for this Sunday, June 11th to Sunday July 2nd. The postponement is the result of poor field conditions after several consecutive days of rain. Sunday's game against the Erie SeaWolves (Tigers) is currently on as scheduled.
The Sea Dogs third annual on-field catch promotion allows fans the opportunity to play a game of catch at Hadlock Field prior to a Portland Sea Dogs game. Each year this promotion takes place on Father's Day or the closest Sea Dogs Sunday home game to Father's Day. The on-field catch is presented by Mercy Hospital.
The rescheduled event on July 2nd will run from 10:00-11:30 AM at Hadlock Field. The Sea Dogs will take on the Trenton Thunder (Yankees) at 1:00 PM.
June 11th tickets are not valid at the July 2nd game.
