Sunday's Curve Game Postponed Due To Rain

ALTOONA- Sunday's scheduled 3:05 p.m. contest at Blair County Ballpark between the Altoona Curve and Erie SeaWolves (AA/Detroit Tigers) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a 5:05 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, May 3rd at Blair County Ballpark. Per Minor League Baseball rules, the doubleheader will consist of two, seven-inning games.

Fans holding tickets dated Sunday, April 20th can exchange their tickets for any 2008 regular season Curve home game of equal or lesser value subject to prior sales and availability. To exchange tickets, fans can visit the Blair County Ballpark Ticket Office or call (877) 99-CURVE.

Sunday's scheduled promotions - the $5 Gift Card Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, 15 and over, and the Steamer Growth Chart Giveaway to the first 2,000 kids 14 and under - have been rescheduled for Sunday, May 25th, when the Curve host the Trenton Thunder at 6:05 p.m.

The Curve's current homestand will continue Monday evening, when the Akron Aeros (AA/Cleveland Indians) visit Blair County Ballpark for the first of a three-game series at 6:35 p.m. Monday and Tuesday's games against Akron are scheduled for 6:35 p.m., while Wednesday's series finale will begin at 10:35 a.m. Great seats remain for all three games, as well as all remaining 2008 Curve home games, and can be purchased by visiting the Blair County Ballpark Ticket Office, by calling 877-99-CURVE or by visiting AltoonaCurve.com.
