- Kris Waltze added another goal this Sunday. Kris has two goals, two assists and fifty-eight penalty minutes in the six games he has played since returning from his eye injury.

- On Saturday night, Nick Parillo registered three points (1-2), and Alexandre Jacques collected four points (2-2). It was the twelfth multiple point game for both Nick and Alex, which lead Toledo. Parillo is the Storm leader in assists (24) and points (38). Jim Abbott has a combined goal total of 20 in his time with Pensacola and Toledo.

- Goaltender Jimi St. John made his Toledo Storm debut Saturday night. Jimi stopped all 31 Roanoke shots for the second shutout of the season by a Toledo Storm goaltender. Doug Teskey had the first on January 16th 1-0 over the Dayton Bombers.

- Due to a death in the family, Doug Teskey had his twenty-five consecutive start streak snapped Friday night. Doug was 9-12-3 in those games.

- Toledo out shot Roanoke 90-55 over Friday and Saturday night. In four of the last seven games, Toledo has eclipsed the 40 shot plateau, and out shot opponents in 6 of their last 8 contests. The Storm is 9-8-3 when out shooting opponent this season.

- Despite Sunday's loss to the Rivermen, Toledo continues to be strong in one-goal games this season (10-4-4).

- Toledo has 26 power play goals in 200 attempts (13.0%). Toledo is ranked 27th in the ECHL.

- The Storm penalty kill unit allowed two power play goals Friday night, which snapped a streak of seven straight games without allowing a PP goal. Toledo's penalty kill unit is ranked 9th in the ECHL, killing off 176 of 207 chances against.

- Toledo is 9-11-1 at home this season and 9-11-3 on the road.

- The Storm is on the road this Friday night at Cincinnati. Toledo will travel to Dayton on Saturday before returning home this Sunday to host Peoria.

- The Toledo Storm coaches show will be back in action this Wednesday night at 8pm in the Downtown Frickers.

STORM PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Marco Charpentier (2 goals - 1 assist = 3 points)

Marco had his best week with the Toledo Storm registering a point in all three games. On Friday night, Marco was the only player to beat goaltender David Belitski and led the Storm in shots that game with 9. Saturday Marco set up Toledo's third goal of the game by feeding Rick Judson for the goal. In Peoria Sunday, Charpentier finished off a 2 on 1 with Chris Gignac to pull the Storm within one goal.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Jimi St. John (1-1-0, 1.51 gaa, 0.958 save%)

Jimi had a huge weekend in the Toledo Storm net. After being signed Friday, St. John started on Saturday night and proceeded to shut out the Roanoke Express 6-0 with 31 saves. Jimi continued his strong play Sunday in Peoria by making 38 stops.
