
Florida remains in second place after 0-1-2 week

Florida Everblades News Release
The Florida Everblades picked up 2 out of a possible 6 points this past week after they fell to the Pensacola Ice Pilots 3-2 in a shootout on Tuesday night and fell to South Carolina 4-3 in a shootout on Friday night and 3-2 in regulation on Saturday night. Florida ranks second in the ECHL's Southern Division and trails the Columbia Inferno by four points heading into this week. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Fort Myers location tonight with player guest Chris Heisten.

The Florida Everblades (23-14-8) lost to the Pensacola Ice Pilots (21-15-5) 3-2 in a shootout in front of 5,057 at TECO Arena Tuesday night.
Friday, January 29th vs. South Carolina 3-4 SOL
The Florida Everblades (23-14-9) fell to the South Carolina Stingrays (24-14-2) 4-3 in a shootout before a crowd of 6,238 at TECO Arena on Friday night.
Saturday, January 30th vs. South Carolina 2-3 L
The Florida Everblades (23-15-9) dropped their second game in as many nights to the South Carolina Stingrays 25-14-2 by a score of 3-2 before a new Florida single game record crowd of 7,581 at TECO Arena.
