
Storm signs center Florina Pascalau

SEATTLE, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 - Seattle Storm head coach and director of player personnel Brian Agler announced today the signing of 6-4 center Florina Pascalau to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Pascalau has played with Acer Priolo in the Italian League since the 2003-04 season. Over her career, she has averaged 11.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 52 percent (741-for-1423) from the field in 170 games. During the 2007-08 season, Pascalau averaged 13.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while starting in all 29 games.
