
Storm sign Magowan and Ehgoetz

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have signed forwards Ken Magowan and Barret Ehgoetz to contracts.
"These are two very gifted players," said Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Nick Vitucci. "Magowan is a combination of power and offense, while Ehgoetz will add offense, creativity and speed."
Ken Magowan, a native of Kelowna, BC, played last season with the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL. A 2004-05 ECHL All-Star, Ken scored 21 goals and added 28 assists in his first professional season. He also collected 107 penalty minutes. Prior to last season, Magowan appeared in 135 games over four seasons with Boston University. The 2000 draft pick of the New Jersey Devils scored 31 goals with 50 assists at Boston. Ken was part of Grand Rapids (American Hockey League) training camp this season.
Barret Ehgoetz, a graduate of Niagara University, has been an offense force through college. In 141 games at the college level, Barret tallied 71 goals with 95 assists. He also collected 142 penalty minutes in his 4-year career. Barret was a member of Manitoba's training camp in the AHL.
