
Condors need help naming new entertainment team

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors and Clear Channel radio are holding a contest to help name the new Condors entertainment team. The Big 96.5 KBKO and KRAB Radio 106.1 are asking listeners to send entries via email at condorsname@yahoo.com.
Entries will be collected until October 11, 2005, the Bakersfield Condors will then narrow the field to five. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for a favorite at www.krab.com; www.big965.com ; and www.bakersfieldcondors.com. The person that submits the winning entry will receive four season tickets to the Condors 2005-2006 season.
The Condors entertainment team will consist of 15 members that will participate in in-game promotions, interact with the fans and dance on the ice at select home games. The team will also take an active role in the Condors community programs and attend various charity events and educational programs throughout the season.
All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
Entries must maintain the image of the Bakersfield Condors and be relevant to the team's role within the organization. Entries must be appropriate for a family venue and not contain obscene or explicit language. Entries must be original, without infringing on copyrights or registered trademarks. The Bakersfield Condors season opens in 19 days at home on October 22nd against the Victoria Salmon Kings. Season ticket, mini-plans and group outings can be reserved by contacting the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825) for more information.
