
Storm request waivers on Adia Barnes

SEATTLE â The Seattle Storm today requested waivers on 5-11 forward Adia Barnes.
Barnes, a member of the 2004 WNBA Champion Storm averaged 2.0 points, 1.9 rebounds in 11.8 minutes per game in 34 games played last season. Barnes was allotted to the Storm as a free agent on April 25, 2002.
Francesca Zara, a 5-10 guard from Italy, signed with the Storm as a free agent on May 17, 2005.
Russian forward Natalia Vodopyonova, who signed with the Storm as a free agent on April 6, 2005, reported to training camp on May 15, 2005.
