Defenseman Kyle Kos' goal with 1:18 left in the second period on a power play was the only offense in a 1-0 Toledo Storm victory over the Dayton Bombers at the Toledo Sports Arena Friday night.
Doug Teskey made 28 saves in the shutout for the Storm.
BOMBERS NOTES: Bombers' rookie defenseman Nate Kiser will be participating in the KOHO Hardest Shot competition for the Eastern Conference at the Par-a-Dice ECHL All-Star Skills Competition in Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois next Tuesday, January 20. The game is on Wednesday, January 21 at 8:30 p.m. EST in Peoria ... The Bombers have 230 tickets remaining for their game at the Nutter Center on Friday, January 23 vs. Peoria (7:00 p.m.) featuring an appearance by Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
