
Barber In Two Skills Competition Events

SAN DIEGO â Greg Barber, the San Diego Gulls' all-star representative will participate in two events at the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition, scheduled for Tuesday.
Barber will be competing for the Western Conference in the Sher-Wood Puck Control Relay and the ITECH Breakaway relay.
In the puck control relay, Barber will be teamed up with Idaho's David Cornacchia and Augusta's Greg Jacina. They will go against three players from the Eastern Conference all-star squad: South Carolina's Kevin Spiewak, Greensboro's Tom Reiman and Columbia's Alexandre Burrows.
In the breakaway relay, Barber will be teamed up with Las Vegas' Justin Kelly, Mississippi's Brent Gauvreau and Pensacola's Corey Neilson. They will be shooting against Atlantic City's Scott Stirling.
Sponsored by the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino and hosted by the Peoria Rivermen, the 12th Annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be held at the 9,919-seat Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill. The Skills Competition will be at 5 p.m. PST on Tuesday and the game will be played at 5:30 p.m. PST on Wednesday. All Gulls fans are invited to Kristy's MVP (Formerly Woodcarver Pizza) Wednesday for an ECHL All-Star game party. Admission is free and there will be food and drink specials.
