Mississippi's Rochon Suspended One Game

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Friday that it has suspended Mississippi defenseman Patrick Rochon for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 550 at Columbus on January 11.

At 3:02 of the first period, Rochon was assessed a major penalty for spearing and a game misconduct under Rule 86 (b). He is suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

Rochon will miss Mississippi's game vs. Pensacola (Jan. 16).
