Cincinnati, OH -- The Toledo Storm snapped the Cyclones unbeaten in regulation streak at four (2-0-2) with a 5-2 win over the Cyclones on Friday at U.S. Bank Arena.
In the first period, Toledo jumped to a 2-0 lead on goals from Darryl Bootland and Nathan Robinson.
The Storm then opened a 4-0 lead on second period goals from Robinson and Matt Ellis. The Cyclones Steve Gallace broke the shutout bid of Toledo netminder Doug Teskey with his 11th goal of the season at 14:27 of the period..
Cincinnati travels to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the Generals on Monday at 7:00 PM. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday but was changed at the request of the Greensboro Coliseum.
