
Grizzlies Make Roster Move

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH (Feb. 27, 2003) - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have signed center Dylan Gyori (GORE-ee). The Red Deer, Alberta native has played in 56 games with Roanoke of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) leading the team in scoring with 22 goals with 50 assists. His 72 points are tied for sixth in scoring in the ECHL. Gyori has also contributed 130 penalty minutes, six power play goals and has a +4 rating with Roanoke.
The 5-10, 184 pound center played in one game with Hershey (AHL) earlier this season and did not score a point. The 23-year-old has played in 106 AHL games previously with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins totaling 24 points (7-17-24) and 109 penalty minutes. Gyori was a member of the Penguins Calder Cup finals team of 2000-01.
Utah will begin a busy weekend tomorrow night when they play the Milwaukee Admirals in the Bradley Center. Face-off is scheduled for 6:12 PM (MST).
