July 16, 2021 - International League (IL)
Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians have announced that their Friday night matchup vs. the Omaha Storm Chasers at Victory Field has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as a doubleheader Saturday, July 17, with Game 1 scheduled for 5:35 PM ET. To celebrate Victory Field's 25th Anniversary presented by Meijer, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative photo frame giveaway when gates open at 5:00 PM, and fireworks will take place after Game 2.
Both games will be seven-inning contests with a 30-minute intermission following the conclusion of Game 1. Only one ticket is needed to attend both games.
The Indians currently hold a one-game lead over Omaha in the six-game series following last night's rain-shortened 4-3 win in five innings. All three games against the Triple-A East Midwest Division leaders have been decided by one run.
Indianapolis' rain check policy for various seating areas in the ballpark is listed below. To purchase or inquire about tickets, visit IndyIndians.com or contact the Victory Field Box Office at (317) 269-3545.
