Stockton Kings Defeat Iowa Wolves in Overtime Nail Biter, 120-117

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (17-11), the NBA G League Affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, beat the Iowa Wolves (9-22) the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves in an exciting overtime game at Stockton Arena on Thursday Night, 120-117.

In the first quarter, Stockton shot 65.2 % (15- of- 23) from the field, and 80% (4- of- 5) from three-point range. In the third period, Iowa Guard Darius Johnson- Odom scored 15 of his 29 points. Cameron Reynolds scored 15 points in the fourth period. The score was 115-112 with Iowa leading, when Iowa turned the ball over with 5.4 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Stockton Guard Reggie Hearn make the game-tying three- pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining. In overtime, Cody Demps scored the first bucket for Stockton and they never trailed.

Stockton Guard Marcus Williams scored 15 points to go along with 10 assists, and five rebounds. Forward Cameron Reynolds led Stockton in scoring with 22 points in 29 minutes played.

Guard Johnson-Odom led both teams in scoring with 29 points and five rebounds. Iowa Guard Brandon Goodwin posted a double- double with 25 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 60% from three-point range.

The Stockton Kings will host the Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors tomorrow, Friday, January 25. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the Stockton Arena, this game can be viewed via Facebook Live. All fans in attendance will receive an interactive player card, for a chance to unlock a deal from Great Clips.
