Stingrays Weekly: Stingrays Wrap up Road Trip in Reading and Elmira

The Week That Was...

The South Carolina Stingrays opened a five-game road trip this past weekend against the Toledo Walleye and Chicago Express for a record of 1-1-0-0. On Saturday, the Stingrays traveled to the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Forward Pierre-Luc O'Brien netted a goal and an assist, but the Walleye prevailed 3-2. The Stingrays quickly moved to the Sears Centre Arena to take on the Express for the first time in team history. Goaltender Philipp Grubauer earned his first professional win and forward Matt Pope recorded two points (1g, 1a) in a 3-2 victory.
