Chicago Express News Release
Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, return to action at the Sears Centre on Friday and Saturday. The Kalamazoo Wings are back in Chicago on Friday for Dollar Beers and Dollar Hot Dogs, and on Saturday the Toledo Walleye make their first trip to the Sears Centre for a Halloween themed game.
On Friday, October 28, the Express are holding their first $1 Beer and $1 Hot Dog night, proudly serving Coors Light, at the Sears Centre Arena. All fans in attendance can get beer and hot dogs for just a dollar apiece until the concession stands close midway through the third period.
On Saturday, October 29, fans are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and celebrate Halloween with the Express. Kids who wear a costume to the game will have a chance to be selected to participate in a costume contest on the ice during the first intermission. Chicago Express staff members will select their favorite costumes, and fans can cheer for their favorite. The winner will be awarded a night in one of our suites for a future game.
During the game, kids can go Trick-or-Treating on the concourse level around the arena. Tables on the concourse will have a variety of candy for the kids to enjoy.
Immediately following the game, all the kids in attendance are invited to come down to the ice to Trick-or-Treat with the team. Express players will be on the ice handing out candy to kids in celebration of the holiday.
The puck drops at 7:30 pm for both games this weekend, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. To get your tickets and enjoy all the fun and excitement for these games, call the Express at 224-220-1333 or visit www.ChicagoExpressHockey.com.
